Apa itu om telolet om?

What is om telolet om?

The meaning of om telolet om?

Okay,  I guess you guys curious about that 'Om telolet om' thingy.
So let me define it to you, base on my own definition.

"Om teloletOm"

Om is someone that younger than your father but older than your brother. It likes an uncle.

In this context, uncle means someone who drives a bus. Mainly a travel bus. (And actually we can call it 'Sir')

Telolet means the sound of the bus's car horn.
So when the driver honks it's horn, it will sounds 'telolet telolet' (and it sounds so funny!)

So basically, 'om telolet om' means 'sir please honks the (bus's) horn.

This "om telolet om" is from an action of some people in a street (only on Indonesia) that will shout for a driver bus who pass, saying "om telolet om!" and the bus's driver will honks the horn.

The purpose of this action is for (jokingly) entertaining  theirself, or those who see it.

By the way, the right pronouncing from "om telolet om"  is :
1. Om = Om like 'Om' in 'ombré'
2. Telelot = Te-Lo-Let
Te (like 'Te' in 'Telephone') Lo( like 'La' in 'Law') and Let.

If you want to see those 'Om telolet Om' action, you can search it on Youtube or Instagram.
